Mr. McMillan specializes in the resolution of commercial disputes through litigation, mediation and arbitration with a focus on construction litigation. His depth of knowledge and experience working in the construction industry supports cost-effective resolutions of complicated construction-related disputes for architects, engineers, contractors and owners. Mr. McMillan is experienced in handling matters involving contract negotiations, contract disputes, allegations of construction and design defects and scheduling disputes involving both accelerations and delays.
Mr. McMillan currently serves as a Chair of the Programs Committee for the Young Men’s Business League of Austin and is a CASA Volunteer with the Court Appointed Special Advocates of Travis County. Mr. McMillan is also a member of the Construction Section of the Austin Bar Association, the Austin Young Lawyers Association, the American Bar Association, and the State Bar of Texas.
Mr. McMillan holds a Bachelor of Science in Construction Science from Texas A&M University, a LEED Accredited Professional designation from the United States Green Building Council and received a J.D. from St. Mary’s University School of Law in 2013.
