David received his BBA from the University of Texas in 1984, attended law school at Southern Methodist University and received his JD in 1987. He was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1987 and is admitted to practice in the US District Court, Western and Southern Districts of Texas, the Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals and the US Supreme Court. Cathrin was born in Trier, Germany, speaks fluent German and moved to San Antonio in the late 1980′s.
